Growing up in Newport Beach, California, Scott Kennedy's pursuit of marine art began very early. He studied at Bellas Artes de Mexico in San Miguel de Allende and traveled extensively, pursuing his work in pen and ink. Upon returning to america he started to chronicle the America's Cup races and he has received much acclaim in this area. His works hangs in permanent museum collections in Germany and the Netherlands.
