The ruffed grouse or partridge, as we incorrectly call them in these parts, is one of the top gamebirds across the northern U.S. and into Canada. To create a 'Winter Wonder' atmosphere for these three grouse, I chose a setting of a small runoff through the woods in mid-March after a heavy, wet snowfall.

Limited edition of 2,500 signed and numbered art prints made from the original oil painting. Image size, 21 x 18. Framed size 31.25 x 28 with 2 medium oak-finished moulding. Double matting with speckled light gray outer mat and brass nameplate.
